Output Quality

Photos, similarly, are at the low end of a tight range where virtually all single-function inkjets fall (except for near-dedicated photo printers aimed at serious amateur and professional photographers and graphic artists). However, that still translates to true photo quality, at about the level I'd expect to see from drugstore prints. As long as you're not too demanding, that's good enough quality to let the iX6520 double as a budget printer for large size photos.
